Last updated October 2026. Short version: your videos make captions, nothing trains on them, delete anytime.
What we collect
Account: your email address (from OAuth or your login) and your plan. Content: videos you upload plus the captions we generate. Billing: handled entirely by DodoPayments — we store subscription status, never card numbers. Support: whatever you write to us.
Why
Email runs your account, quotas, and plan. Videos exist so the pipeline can transcribe them and so you can re-download outputs. Billing status gates paid tiers. Support mail answers support questions. Nothing else.
How long it stays
Job files live with the job: cancel or delete a job and its files go with it. Accounts and outputs persist until you ask us to delete them. Backups, if any, rotate out within weeks. We do not keep your videos to train models — there is no training pipeline here at all.
Who sees it
Nobody except: our hosting provider (stores the bits), DodoPayments (runs checkout), and the AI providers that transcribe and polish (audio/text in transit, under their terms). No selling, no renting, no ad networks, no analytics fingerprinting.
Cookies
One session cookie keeps you signed in. No tracking cookies, no cross-site anything.
Your rights
Ask for a copy of your data or full deletion at [email protected] — account, files, and outputs included. OAuth users can also revoke access at their provider, which stops future sign-ins immediately.
