Terms of Service.
Last updated October 2026. Plain words, no traps.
The service
FluxSubs turns uploaded videos into timed captions, with optional polish and translation, plus SRT and VTT downloads. You supply footage you have the right to use; we return caption files. We do not claim ownership of your videos or your words.
Accounts
Sign in with GitHub, Google, Microsoft, or an admin-provisioned email login. You are responsible for keeping your credentials private and for everything submitted under your account. One account per person unless we agree otherwise.
Plans, quotas, billing
Free covers 2 videos a day up to 30 minutes each with watermarked captions. Paid tiers (Basic, Pro, Scale) raise daily caps, video length, languages, and queue priority. Paid plans bill monthly through DodoPayments — we never see or store your card. Cancel anytime; access runs to the end of the paid period and quotas reset daily. Unused quota does not roll over.
Acceptable use
No illegal content, no malware in uploads, no scraping or hammering the service, no reselling access without permission. Jobs that violate this can be cancelled and refunded automatically; repeat abuse loses the account.
Accuracy
Speech recognition and translation are AI-generated and can be wrong — review captions before publishing anything that matters. Timestamps come from the audio itself and are never invented, but noisy audio degrades everything downstream.
Termination
Either side can walk away anytime: cancel the plan, stop signing in, or ask support to delete the account and its files. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or break these terms.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the new version ships with the site and the date below moves. Continued use means acceptance.
